Your account
- Give correct details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password private. Your account is for you alone; do not let anyone else use it.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- If you are under 18, use the website with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Courses and fees
Course content, batch timings, fees, the payment schedule and any refunds are as agreed with the academy when you enrol. We may change class times, trainers or study material when needed, and will let you know in the portal.
Course material and recordings
Lessons, tests, study material and class recordings belong to PrepGuru Academy or its trainers. They are for your own study only. Do not copy, download to share, sell, upload elsewhere or pass on any of them, or share recording links outside the portal.
Behaviour
Be respectful in classes, messages and the community. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that belongs to someone else, do not cheat in tests, and do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the website. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
AI study tools and scores
AI tools and estimated scores are there to help you practise. They can be wrong, and are not official scores. We help you prepare, but we cannot guarantee any particular result in IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT, SAT or any other exam, or any admission or visa outcome.
Other websites
The website links to services run by others, such as Google Meet, Google Drive, WhatsApp and official exam websites. Their own terms apply when you use them.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the website running and correct, but it is provided as it is, and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. As far as the law allows, PrepGuru Academy is not liable for indirect losses from using the website, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us for the course concerned.
Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the website after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
