What are the minimum qualifications to apply?

We look for at least 2 years of proven teaching experience in your subject area. A relevant degree or certification (e.g. CELTA, Goethe, TEFL) is a strong advantage but not always mandatory if you have exceptional results.

Will I be paid per student or per hour?

Trainers are compensated on a revenue-sharing basis tied to batch enrolments. Details are shared during the onboarding discussion. Top earners consistently make ₹40,000–80,000/month.

Can I set my own schedule?

Yes. We work around your availability. Once a batch is agreed upon, classes follow a fixed schedule. Weekday and weekend batches are both available.

How long does the application review take?

Our team reviews applications within 3–5 working days. Shortlisted applicants are invited for a demo class, after which an offer is made within 48 hours.

Do I need my own teaching equipment?

You need a laptop, a stable internet connection, a headset with microphone, and a well-lit space. All teaching tools, materials and LMS access are provided by PrepGuru.

Can I teach multiple subjects?

Absolutely. Many of our trainers handle 2–3 subjects. Your application can list multiple areas of expertise.
